The cast of The Robin Hood Trilogy Special Edition

Ian NASH-GILCHRIST is Robin Hood
Ian's performing career began late in his life (some would say not late enough). It all started with a small, yet award winning role as Sgt Hilda in "Bats". From there Ian has starred in such productions as "Anything Goes", "Annie", "Pippin", "Les Miserables", "Boogie Fever" (Ed & Ian's disco fetish) and "The Andrew Lloyd Webber Spectacular (but don't hold that against him). In recent times, he starred as the cool and slick Danny in "Grease", "Romeo & Juliet", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "West Side Story" and "Pippin". He appeared in Steve Martin's "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" and "Boeing Boeing", both with Comic Genius Productions. After co-writing and starring in the original production of Robin Hood the Untold Story, Robin Hood 2 the Sheriff Strikes Back and Robin Hood 3 the Third One, Ian is excited to be revisiting his starring role as Robin.

Rachel CROSSTHWAITE is Maid Marian
Having made her theatrical debut as a prostitute, Rachel has played a stream of unsavory characters in a number of Geelong theatrical productions. This however is all about to change as she takes on the role of the pure and virginal Maid Marian in this spectacular version of Robin Hood!

Reyna HUDGELL is Griselda the Seer
Reyna has performed in many local productions such as "Hair", "Godspell", "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "My Fair Lady". She has played Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors", Gooch in "Mame" and many other character roles. Her experience also includes restaurant and cabaret entertaining and has sung in "Class Act", a musical duo that plays at weddings and parties.

Reyna is looking forward to her role as Griselda with great anticipation! She is also married to Prince John!

Sascha KEET is Sir Guy of Gisborne
Sascha's previous shows include "Evita", "Chess", "The Sound of Music", "West Side Story", "Golden Age", "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "Blackrock".

Sascha has found something lacking in all the shows he has performed in and has come to realise that everything has been building up to his role of Sir Guy in the Robin Hood Trilogy Special Edition!

Joe LAMBERT is Much the Miller's Son
Having played the role of Much in the 1995 version of "Robin Hood -  the Untold Story", Joe is happy to return to the character (and before he gets back on the job, he's hoping to give his undercarriage a bit of the old "How's ya Father")

Joe has had his hand in Geelong theatre for a few years now. Performing in Doorstep Production's greats "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat", "Evita" and "Jesus Christ Superstar". Being one of those who has done everything but not noticed in anything, he's glad to have lines for a change. He is also looking forward to wearing a codpiece for this next installment as he still has a rash between the legs from the hessian costume he wore last time.

Brad BEALES is Percy of Middlesex
Brad began his stage career playing Will Parker in "Oklahoma" and has since worked on a number of shows in Geelong including "Les Miserables" as Marius, "Evita", "My Fair Lady" and "H.M.S. Pinafore".

He played Robin Hood for 18 months in "Dirty Dick's Medieval Madness" before leaving of utter boredom and an acute fear of thin green tights. Now after many months of therapy and shock treatment, he is now free to brave the elements of "merry men-ing" around Sherwood once more. When asked recently, Brad commented "I only hope I can still fill the costume for a merry man".

Brad hopes you enjoy this production of the Robin Hood trilogy and would like to make any apologies now rather than later!

Louisa GRAHAM is Kim Messenger
Louisa cannot find words to describe how utterly overjoyed she is to be working with such a plethora of talent in Robin Hood."Kim" is going to join that multitudinous list of favourite characters from Louisa's past shows including Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors", Louisa in "Godspell" and Mary Mooney in "Once a Catholic".

Louisa can only hope to wear fishnets in this role.

Scott WARREN is Derek the Guard
Scott has been performing for the past few years and has recently performed in "Annie", "The Little Mermaid (97-98) and "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying".

Scott is looking forward to working with a talented cast in a magnificent show such as the Star Wars™ trilogy. "When George* asked me to work on the movie, I was truly honored. That and I would really like to meet Princess Leia™. I hope she is as pretty in real life 20 years later as she was back then. Queen Amidala™ is also very nice too."

Ross PEARCE is Friar Tuck
Ross has been training for the role of Friar Tuck for twenty years - local theatre has proved to be a great training ground. With" third man from the left" in many Gilbert & Sullivan productions as a start, he has progressed to "third man from the left with a name". After realising that as a singer he is a tolerable actor, he moved to 'serious' acting with limes such as "Hark, I hear the cannons roar..."

But seriously folks, Ross has appeared in many shows in Geelong and enjoyed character acting in shows as diverse Chekov's "A Proposal" and "Lil Abner". He has just completed a season as C.S. Lewis in "Shadowlands".

With 5 years of TV and film work under his belt, the highlight was attempting to kill a pregnant Kerry Mangle on "Neighbours" and being described asa yobbo in TV Week!

Kate HEHIR is Nigel the Guard
Kate has dragged herself away from her rigorous Tae Bo sessions to dedicate her vast dramatic skills to the lead role of Nigel (well he does have a couple of lines)

After playing the role of Annelle, the low class, low intellect and highly religious pregnant hairdresser in "Steel Magnolias", Kate is extremely excited to sink her teeth into a strong and academic character such as Nigel, known to close friends as "The Nige".
