MEDIA RELEASE BUCKLE YOUR SWASH! THE ROBIN HOOD TRILOGY IS HERE! After five years absence, Comic Genius Productions in association with the Geelong Lyric Theatre Society and the City of Greater Geelong are taking an all new look at their smash hit comedy, "The Robin Hood Trilogy Special Edition" starring Ian Nash-Gilchrist and Ed Dolista. Not only do audiences get to see the original "Robin Hood – the Untold Story" and its sequels "Robin Hood 2 – the Sheriff Strikes Back" and "Robin Hood 3 – the Third One", but the all new "Robin Hood 4 – Flogging a Dead Horse". RH4 was specially written for this production by Ed Dolista and Ian Nash-Gilchrist. "This is a chance to redo the scenes that were technically impossible to do back in 1995", says Ed. Ian adds "Plus we needed the money". Not content relying on the laugh a minute script, "The Robin Hood Trilogy Special Edition" boasts some of Geelong’s finest talent – not only for their comedic ability and box office pull, but to share the blame if the show flops. Reprising their roles as Robin and the Sheriff of Nottingham are Ian Nash-Gilchrist and Ed Dolista. Also starring is Rachel Crossthwaite, Brad Beales, Reyna Hudgell, Ross Pearce, Paul Friend, Adam Dibiase, Sascha Keet, Louisa Graham, Chris Hudgell, Scott Warren, Kate Hehir and Joe Lambert reprising his role of Much the Miller’s son. Comic Genius Productions is also proud to announce ABC TV’s Mr. Shaun Micallef as patron. Mr. Micallef is best known for his hit comedy series "The Micallef Programme" and his memorable characters from "Full Frontal".
