The creation of producer, songwriter and musician Gregg Diamond, Bionic Boogie were a studio disco outfit that released three disco albums which helped fill the dance floors in the late 1970's.

Hits include 1977's Risky Changes and Dance Little Dreamer, 1978's Cream (Always Rises to the Top) and Hot Butterfly which featured Luthor Vandross on lead vocals.

The band also featured future KISS drummer Eric Carr on backing vocals.

Outside of Bionic boogie, Diamond's biggest hit was as writer and producer of the 1975 single More More More by the Andrea True Connection.

Sadly, Diamond died in 1999 as a result of gastrointestinal bleeding. He was only 49.
