Rhythm Heritage was a 1970's American Disco-funk band best known for their 1976 US number 1 smash Theme from S.W.A.T..   They recorded many other TV themes, particularly from ABC television including Baretta, Starsky and Hutch and the theme from Rocky.

Formed in 1975 by producer Steve Barri and keyboardist Michael Omartian, the band included Scott Edwards, and Ed Greene. There were a number of guest musicians including Raydio's Ray Parker Jr, best know for his hit Ghostbusters, You Can't Change That and Jack and Jill.
