Producers
Comic Genius Productions
Founded in 1994 by Ed Dolista and lan Nash-Gilchrist, Comic Genius Productions began with writing Robin Hood the Untold Story as Doorstep Production's first major show.

After this success they worked on a number of projects ranging from library literacy programs, children's theme parties & disco floorshows.

However it wasn't until 1996 they produced their first show, Robin Hood 3 - the Third One for the Flood Relief concert held at the GPAC.

Ed heads up CMG’s design arm creating websites, theatrical posters and programs.

In 2000, they presented the Robin Hood Trilogy: Special Edition with the all-new Robin Hood 4 - Flogging a Dead Horse at GPAC receiving critical and box office success.

Its latest incarnation, performed by Newcomb Secondary College and directed by Ed and Ian, has been nominated for a number of awards at this year’s KUDOS II presentation.

They also look forward to the United Kingdom premiere of Robin Hood the Untold Story in February and a return to the Woodbin Theatre in late 2003.Comic Genius Productions' next project is the disco musical, Lucky Stars.

Stage Manager
Judy Ellis

Judy’s interest and involvement in theatre has seen her as an actor, stage manager, producer and teacher for more than 40 years.

Judy was stage manager for Kelly Clifford’s Geelong Rep production It’s My Party and I’ll Die if I Want To.

This year she played Mrs Frazer in Stepping Out for pinkFish productions and directed A Protest for On A Mat Appear, for the 2002 Melbourne fringe Festival.

Lighting/Set Construction
Andrew Elkington

Andrew has worked on many Rep shows since his first, My Friend Miss Flint, in 1994.

In that time he has become an indispensable member of the company with his talents in lighting, sound and set construction.

Directors think nothing of asking for a bit of snow, a roaring fire or a materializing painting and Andrew produces them!

His contributions to set design have also helped directors turn those pictures they have in their heads into a reality.
